Seat-Level Fundamentals & Redistricting Model

For a House seat, the district's partisan lean, incumbency status and the national environment explain most of the outcome before any polling exists — and cheap, unpolled races are where markets are least efficient. When maps are redrawn, the old lean is obsolete and the market often keeps using it. You build a seat-level model from district composition and trade the many small races nobody bothers to price carefully.

  • National-environment estimate feeding a uniform-swing-plus-noise model
  • Coverage across many low-liquidity races, since the edge is spread thin per seat
