Model-Run Cadence Repricing

Global weather models publish on a fixed schedule — 00z, 06z, 12z and 18z — and output becomes available at predictable minutes past those hours. Weather markets reprice in a burst after each run lands. If your pipeline parses the new run before manual traders have read the graphics, you get a short window at the old price. This is scheduled, repeatable, and available four times a day, every day.

What you need to run it

  • Automated download and parse of raw model output within minutes of each run's release
  • Threshold-extraction code that turns raw fields into per-market probabilities immediately
  • Order staging so trades fire during the repricing window rather than after it

Where this applies

Markets on Polymarket where model-run cadence repricing is the natural play:

  • Will the high in Dallas exceed 100°F on Saturday?
  • Will Seattle see rain on Friday?
  • Will Miami exceed 3 inches of rainfall this week?
